Currently, no new public beta release is available. Customers who previously installed a public beta firmware version and subsequently upgrade via the Internet will receive the BDP83-48-1224B version, which is functionally identical to the BDP83-48-1224 version. Units installed with the BDP83-48-1224B version will continue to receive future public beta firmware via the Internet while units installed with the BDP83-48-1224 version will only receive future official (non-beta) firmware upgrades.
To check the firmware version installed on your player, please go to the Setup Menu and select "Device Setup – Firmware Information".
